First Nations Land Management Initiative
Description: The First Nations Land Management Initiative is a First Nations-led initiative that is supported by the Framework Agreement on First Nations Land Management (Framework Agreement) and ratified by Parliament through the First Nations Land Management Act. The Framework Agreement and the Act allow signatory First Nations to opt out of the land management sections of the Indian Act to establish their own land management and resource regimes.
